A TOILET roll bearing satirical cartoons of Adolf Hitler and other Nazi leaders is to be auctioned.
One of the cartoons shows Hitler giving a salute with the caption “Now I’m brownshirt all over”.
The novelty toilet roll was printed during World War Two to poke fun at the Third Reich[/caption]
Another shows a large German general with the words “No power on Earth can wipe us out”.
And another depicts a man with a Swastika emblazoned on his jumper, with the caption “We want closer relations with Britain”.
Underneath that is the reply “Don’t worry, you’re just about to get them”.

The roll of cartoons, made during World War Two to poke fun at the Third Reich, was found at a country house in the Cotswolds.
It is expected to sell for at least £100 when it goes under the hammer at Chorley’s Auctioneers in Cranham, Gloucs, on November 19.
Chorley’s director Thomas Jenner-Fust called it “a wonderful opportunity to acquire a piece of history with great provenance”.
